| Bio: | This is my scrabble journal. I started playing competitively because, living in Iowa in 2000-2002, there was little else to do, so I started learning knitting and Scrabble. I'm now hoping to maintain this 'expert' status bestowed upon people with my rating. I'm lucky to have a club that helps me improve, and a boy who will feed my addiction, and plays well enough to keep it interesting. I play because it's fun and makes me think and introduces me to fascinating people; plus, I have a pretty purple board that would feel neglected if I didn't use it so regularly. I write about my tournaments, but also about club, studying, and whatever else Scrabble-related comes to mind. If you want to know about the rest of my life, that's in another journal...
